KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is unfazed by Sabah Bersatu's ambitions to regain control of the state government they lost following a spate of defections last year.
The Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah president and Sabah Chief Minister said they have already garnered 300,000 members statewide, proving his party was is favoured by many."If you look at membership numbers, Gagasan Rakyat is favourably received in Sabah.
Hajiji was asked to comment on Sabah Bersatu secretary Abdul Kadir Damsal earlier this week who claimed that their party is back with new leaders and committees set up at division level, as they gear up to regain the seats lost due to defections. Sabah Bersatu was the backbone of the Sabah government which was formed after the 2020 state polls but after GE15, all its assemblymen including Hajiji, left to form Gagasan Rakyat.
