A furniture factory and recycling center in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, were raided by authorities for allegedly exploiting foreign workers as forced labor without paying wages. The raid, conducted under Op Pintas by the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants (Atipsom) unit of the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, involved cooperation with the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters, Selangor Immigration Department, and Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ). Three Bangladeshi nationals aged 28 to 35 were rescued and believed to be victims of exploitation under the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007 (Atipsom).

PETALING JAYA: Sebuah kilang pembuatan perabot dan premis kitar semula di sini digempur pihak berkuasa selepas disyaki mengeksploitasi tenaga kerja asing sebagai buruh paksa tanpa membayar gaji.

Seramai tiga warga Bangladesh berusia 28 hingga 35 tahun diselamatkan selepas dipercayai menjadi mangsa eksploitasi di bawah Akta Antipemerdagangan Orang dan Antipenyeludupan Migran 2007 . “Mangsa mendakwa telah dipukul, diugut, tidak dibayar gaji dan ditempatkan di penginapan yang serba daif dan tidak kondusif. Dalam serbuan itu, seramai 29 individu berusia 26 hingga 48 tahun turut ditahan atas pelbagai kesalahan.
