Amirudin says there are no more backlogs in the management of Muslim Covid-19 patients’ bodies in hospitals.
The funeral management involving Muslim Covid-19 fatalities at three hospitals in Selangor will not be more than 24 hours following the implementation of a funeral management initiative by the state government to speed up the process, said Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari.
He said the state government is also in discussions with funeral parlours handling the bodies of non-Muslim Covid-19 patients to hasten the burial process which takes up to four days.
