The public funeral service will then be held from 11 a.m. - noon.
Austin Cops for Charities, a nonprofit, is hosting a fundraiser for Austin police officer Tony Martin. So far, they had raised $15,000 for his family Officer Martin began his career with the Austin Police Department as a Cadet with the 112th Cadet Class on Sept. 18, 2006, and was commissioned as an Officer on April 27, 2007.
"Officer Martin dedicated his life to service, retiring after 20 years from the United States Air Force before joining the Austin Police Department. Officer Martin’s service with the Austin Police Department included Patrol, DWI Unit, and Motors," police said.
