After a five-hour multi-agency search, a fugitive was captured in Daleville Wednesday afternoon.
Michelle Mann DALEVILLE — A fugitive wanted by the U.S. Marshals since late February was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Daleville.
Daleville Department of Public Safety Chief John Crawford said that 46-year-old Burgess Chad Flowers was captured at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday after a five-hour hunt that began when the Daleville police and U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force officers went to a location in Daleville to serve a fugitive warrant on Flowers for parole violation and escape.“During the execution of the warrant, the suspect fled on foot into the woods near Daleville Avenue,” said Crawford.
People are also reading… “As the tracking area increased, multiple agencies were contacted to assist with setting a perimeter and to assist the DOC tracking team with security,” Crawford said. “After five hours of tracking, Mr. Flowers was captured off Tank Hill Road.
