iStock/Gallo ImagesAs South Africans shivered in the cold weather and braved the rare snow fall this week, the residents of Dobsonville in Soweto were hit by a double whammy - electricity cut offs and load shedding on Tuesday night.

The power was cut off 30 minutes before the scheduled load shedding at 8pm on Tuesday night.
