A warming trend that lasts nearly a week will begin Tuesday, with highs approaching 80 by Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
220 AM Monday October 23rd, 2023: Tuesday morning looks like the coolest morning for spots across the southeast, as winds will be on the light side. Wednesday morning will still be on the cool side. Warm weather will prevail after that through the end of the week.Temperatures overnight are forecast to fall into the mid-30s throughout central Pennsylvania.
Some areas across central and eastern Pa. on Friday and Saturday could see highs reach 80, or more than 15 degrees above normal. Showers are not forecast until Sunday when temperatures also will begin to trend downward. Next week’s highs, beginning on Halloween, look like they will run below normal, with highs around in the low 50s and lows in the 30s, according to the long-range forecast.
