PUTRAJAYA: Frontliners at the Putrajaya Hospital were given a surprise when Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah dropped by to wish them “Selamat Hari Raya Aidifitri” on Sunday (May 24).
"He is now here with us in real life and I managed to take a selfie with him," assistant medical officer Efi Cassey Kristus said when met here.
"We are the first ones facing members of the public when they are brought in for screening and swab tests here to determine if they are infected," she added. "We are always ready to serve even if it means being unable to travel home for the festivities," she added. "Medical personnel are working on rotation and we have sufficient personnel at hospitals while our emergency rooms are operational 24 hours a day," he said.
