Kamala Harris has promised to"unite" the United States of America as she formally accepted the Democratic presidential nomination.
Kamala Harris explained how her mother"crossed the world alone, traveling from India to California" with she was 19. "One day I asked if everything was alright and she confided in me that she was being sexually abused by her stepfather," she said.Ms Harris said"from the courthouse to the White House" standing up for others has been her life's work.
