A 40-year old Fresno resident was arrested Saturday after she allegedly participated in thefts around the Peninsula.
At 9:59 a.m., San Mateo County Sheriff deputies located a person matching the suspect’s description in the area of Second and Fair Oaks Avenues in Redwood City. The suspect, a Fresno resident, was positively identified as the same person from the Menlo Park break-in, authorities say.
A search of the suspect’s possession yielded items reported stolen from several other thefts in Menlo Park and Palo Alto, as well as a burglary in Atherton, police say. She was also allegedly in possession of narcotics paraphernalia and under the influence of narcotics. Police say the handgun the Menlo Park resident reported was a pellet gun “very closely” replicating a Glock 17.
