506,475 people have attended League of Ireland matches up to the summer break

League of Ireland crowds have already broken the half a million barrier this season, according to the FAI .

The League of Ireland today put the combined mid-season attendance at 506,475 across the Premier Division, First Division, Women’s Premier Division and cup fixtures. The average gate for a men’s Premier Division game has also risen 6% from 3,294 to 3,505, according to the association. League chief Scanlon said: “Reaching half a million people already in 2024 is an exciting landmark and shows the rising profile of the League and our clubs.
