Authorities warn of serious health risks due to unlisted ingredients, including sildenafil and tadalafil, usually found in prescription medications like Viagra and Cialis. In 2021, health officials reported cases of convulsions, cerebral oedema, and acute kidney injuries linked to these products. The largest seizure, 13 tonnes in 860,000 sticks, came from Malaysia and was found in Marseille in November 2024.
