With classes on hold for students in the Seattle and Kent school districts due to teachers’ strikes, the districts are providing free meals for students until classes begin.
Students who attend public school in Seattle are eligible for free sack lunches prepared by the district’s culinary services team starting Wednesday, Sept. 7. Parents and guardians may pick up the meals and students do not need to be in attendance.
