The Super Bowl will have fewer but longer commercial breaks

Photo: Hyosub Shin/Zuma Press By Alexandra Bruell May 3, 2019 10:00 a.m. ET Fox Broadcasting Co. is reducing the number of commercial breaks in the 2020 Super Bowl, in an effort to improve the viewing experience, the network said.
The thinking is that a game with fewer interruptions will flow better and maybe even end earlier, keeping viewers more engaged.
