PORT KLANG: Four teenagers, all victims of human trafficking, have been rescued in a raid on an illegal factory in Telok Gong here.
Bukit Aman CID's Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants unit conducted the raid at about 3.30pm on Thursday along with several other agencies, including the Labour Department.
"Initial investigations showed that the victims worked at the illegal factory from two to five months ago. SAC Fadil said the operation was focused on identifying victims of human trafficking based on the National Guideline on Human Trafficking Indicators .
