BEIJING: The head of a kindergarten in northern China was suspended after a viral video captured her organising parents to pledge to “not be bear parents” and to show respect for teachers.
The suspects, G. Balakrishnan, 33; S. Prem Kumar, 38; Muhammad Ridwan Dinesh, 38 and P. Ukenthiran, 33, pleaded not guilty to charges read to them at the Magistrates and Sessions Courts.
They were accused of committing the act in a house on Jalan Bestari, Taman Mutiara Rini at about 4am on Aug 7.Magistrate Hidayatul Syuhada Shamsudin set bail at RM3,000 each and Oct 29 for next mention. The case was handled by deputy public prosecutor Nurain Syafiqeen Mohd Rozi, who asked the court to set bail at RM10,000 each.Meanwhile, at the Sessions Court, Balakrishnan and Prem Kumar were charged under Section 395 of the Penal Code for gang robbery.
