RCMP say two men on the side of Highway 165 tried to stop and steal a vehicle. Eight stolen firearms were located hidden in the snow nearby.
At about 2:30 a.m., RCMP received a report of an attempted robbery on Highway 165, a release said. Officers located a gun safe in the SUV and found eight firearms hidden in the snow.
