PUTRAJAYA: Four localities in four districts in Sabah will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (MCO) effective Friday (Sept 3).

The affected areas are Ladang Mayvin 2 staff quarters in Telupid, Kampung Tagaroh in Kota Marudu, Cargo Timber Saw Mill and staff quarters in Keningau, as well as Kampung Dumpiring Bawah in Ranau.

The areas will be placed under lockdown for 14 days until Sept 16, the National Security Council said in a statement on Wednesday . The NSC has also announced that the enhanced MCO placed on several localities will be lifted on Thursday .The order placed on these four localities in Sabah will also be lifted: Kampung Tanjong Pagar in Sipitang, Kampung Padang Tembak in Keningau, Kampung Jawa in Tawau and Kampung Baru Luyang in Penampang.
