The former chief technology officer of Square was fatally stabbed on Tuesday.
According to, officers from the San Francisco Police Department found the 43-year-old former chief technology officer of Square with stab wounds at abruptly 2:35 a.m., but he was still alive. Lee wasn’t identified by police at the scene, however, sources who were there when cops arrived claimed it was him.
He was transported to a hospital where he later died due to the severe and life-threatening injuries he sustained.MobileCoin’s chief executive officer issued a statement on Wednesday saying, “Bob was a dynamo, a force of nature. Bob was the genuine article. He was made for the world that is being born right now, he was a child of dreams, and whatever he imagined, no matter how crazy, he made real.”San Francisco police say that the crime will be investigated by the department’s homicide detail.
