Fort Worth officer fatally shoots domestic violence suspect, police say

The officer, whose name has not been released, was with the department’s fugitive unit and U.S. Marshals searching for a man who had an active felony warrant for family-violence aggravated assault, according to police. The encounter took place about 4:30 p.m. on Michele Court, near Zion Hill Road a few miles north of Weatherford.

The man, who was identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as 30-year-old Raymundo Duran III, was pronounced dead at the scene.
