Final results were unavailable late Saturday in the city of Pearland's bond election in which voters considered propositions to fund municipal projects for drainage, streets and park improvements.for Fort Bend ISD's bond package, the largest in the district's history. All three propositions were approved.

Proposition B authorizes around $52 million in bonds for students to receive new computers and devices for staff.The bonds will have an estimated impact of $2.50 per month on property taxes for the average home valued at $300,000.Dickinson ISD supported the district's $120 million bond, which will provide $68.1 million for construction of a new facility for prekindergarten through fifth grade as well as $50.

Proposition C, which includes $56 million for the replacement of Bulldog Stadium, 301 E Fairmont Parkway on its existing site. Proposition B would provide $26.1 million for street, bridge and sidewalk improvements, including a $10.7 million project to expand Hughes Road east by 5,200 feet from Pearland Parkway to the city limits. The plan aims to relieve traffic congestion in the area and widen Hughes from two lanes to four.
