TABUK CITY, Kalinga—A former village chief in Pinukpuk town in this province was arrested on Tuesday, August 16, after allegedly yielding “shabu” , illegally cut logs, and bullets, the police said. Major Garry Gayamos, Kalinga police spokesperson, said authorities arrested Reynold Gongob, 47, after serving a search warrant at his house in Barangay Wagod.Seized from Gongob were shabu worth P200,000, assorted bullets, and illegally cut lumber worth P106,408, said the investigators.
