The former CEO of Denver-based VF Corp. has sold his Cherry Creek home for $6 million
The home was purchased by David and Colleen Messenger, acting as the Messenger Trust, records show.
David Messenger has been chief financial officer for Century Communities, a Colorado-based homebuilder, since 2013. The company has new homes for sale in Denver, Colorado Springs and surrounding suburban municipalities. The brick and stucco Cherry Creek home with wood siding has four bedrooms and six baths. Built in 2017, it includes an elevator to the rooftop terrace.
VF Corp., the publicly traded parent of brands such as The North Face, Smartwool, JanSport, Altra, and Eagle Creek, received $27 million in tax incentives in 2018 to move its headquarters to Denver from North Carolina. The company leases a 10-story building near Union Station, as well as a 70,000-square-foot building at 3060 Brighton Blvd.. The latter is used for product development and testing.
