Former TVB actor Jerry Koo now waits tables at his restaurant in China

Koo left the Hong Kong broadcaster TVB in 2020 and moved to China to seek better opportunities.

Actor Jerry Koo was once a familiar face in the Hong Kong's film industry, having acted in over 30 dramas since making his debut in the 1994 series,Divas In DistressRecently, a netizen bumped into the actor at a restaurant in Jiangmen – a city in Guangdong Province, China – and shared some photos with him on her social media account.

In her post, the netizen mentioned that Koo was very friendly and willing to oblige to her photo requests., the eatery was opened by the actor last year and specialises in Hong Kong-style cuisines. The prices are said to be affordable, ranging between 10 to 20 yuan . Koo not only actively promotes his restaurant on social media, but he also helps out by waiting tables and making milk tea. Occasionally, he will entertain patrons by singing a few songs.

Although the actor is currently based in China, he still accepts acting offers for Hong Kong shows time to time.
