Former PNG prime minister held for graft
PAPUA New Guinea’s former prime minister Peter O’Neill was arrested over corruption allegations after arriving back in the country today, police said.
The arrest was part of an investigation into the alleged unauthorised purchase of two Israeli generators while he was in power, Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary assistant commissioner Hodges Ette said in a statement.
