Former OSU star Taylor Mikesell signs with Atlanta Dream

Former Ohio State guard Taylor Mikesell is finding a new home in the WNBA.

In April, Mikesell was selectedin the WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, but the next month she was waived from the team before the start of the regular season.

Mikesell spent the last two seasons of her collegiate career at Ohio State, and she started in all 68 games she played in. She led the team in scoring and three-pointers last season and helped the Buckeyes to their first Elite Eight appearance in 30 years. Mikesell also earned All-Big Ten First Team honors in both seasons.Atlanta Dream is back in action on Friday night when they host the New York Liberty.
