Multiple female students complained about former Paetow High School coach Lonnie Teagle before he resigned, according to court records.
The charges also reveal Teagle was the subject of complaints at his former school district in Denton, according to a criminal complaint.the district hoped would lead the already-successful Paetow High to another titleAccording to a court records, complaints about his behavior started early in his tenure at his new job. Teagle is accused of starting an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student in late August and early September, according to the criminal complaint.
The day after the girl complained, three more female students came forward to say that Teagle had touched them inappropriately on their hips and thighs. They also said he made inappropriate comments, including saying that he would like to date them, according to the complaint. A Katy ISD spokesperson in October told the Houston Chronicle that when Teagle was called in for questioning regarding allegations made by students, he promptly tendered his resignation. The
