Cork are on a barren 19-year run without the Liam MacCarthy Cup, the longest in their history
Eoin Cadogan says that talk of an All-Ireland for Cork hurlers is “madness” as they bid to reach the semi-finals for the first time in three years this weekend.
“The most important thing for Cork is can they be consistent in their performance? You would say that the performance against Offaly wasn't where it needed to be. It was sloppy at times and they conceded 3-19. “Cork are coming in as favourites based on that previous performance but that’s a tricky place to be.
“I think that is the foundation Cork need to go after, turning over Dublin particularly up the field if they try to play that short, running game,” said the Boylesports ambassador. “He's still doing the business in the sense that he's contributing to the team from play and from frees.
