Former Atlantic Records talent scout says bosses sexual assaulted her: suit
Carvello worked as the first female A&R talent scout for Atlantic.Ahmet Ertegun, Atlantic's co-founder, would allegedly grope and masturbate in front of Carvello.The late executive would also grab Carvello between her legs, according to the lawsuit.“Mr. Ertegun regularly masturbated in Ms. Carvello’s presence, often while dictating correspondence to her as she took notes.”
Carvello tried to fight off Ertegun and also begged then-executive Jason Flom and others for help during the attacks, “but they simply looked on and laughed,” the suit alleges.
