Wisma Putra said the majority of High Commissions abroad had uploaded updated information of the process on their portals beginning June 16.
Wisma Putra said a small number of High Commissions were affected by technical difficulties rendering them unable to update their portals with their respective offices taking immediate action to rectify the issue.
“We will continue to ensure clear, accurate and updated information prepared by the Election Commission is channelled to Malaysians voters abroad,” it said in a statement on Monday . It said obsolete requirements and information like the need for 30 days presence in Malaysia within five years before the elections or that the voting age is 21 is being shared.
