reports. The document notes that the rebate was specifically offered to customers waiting on 2023 Bronco Wildtrak models. Ford Spokesperson Jiyan Cadiz told the outlet that this is the result of supply constraints related to the trim and its larger engine, with similar constraints also impacting the broader molded-in colored hardtop,
, and Lux package options. Current Bronco customers are being asked to change their orders to an Outer Bank, Big Bend or Badlands model without the aforementioned options in order to receive the rebate.Ford will also allow customers unwilling to wait for a new build to apply that $2500 towards a new, Ranger, F-150, Escape, Edge, Explorer, or Expedition. These models are currently not facing the same production constraints or waitlists as the off-road SUV.
Customers who opt to do nothing in this case run the risk of having their 2023 order canceled if Ford is unable to get it scheduled for production. You can preemptively cancel your order and receive a refund for your $100 deposit, which can be used to reorder a new 2024 model. It is of course worth noting that supplies for the 2024 model year are also slated to remain limited.
