The World Travel Awards, which is widely seen as the “Oscars’” of the travel and tourism sector, was held yesterday, 15 October 2023, in a glittering event at The Atlantis Royal in Dubai, where all the winners were announced for the Africa and Indian Ocean category.The airport was put up again several top contenders for the title, including Durban’s King Shaka International Airport and Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport.
