Hindi maiwasan ng ilang dumadaan sa isang footbridge sa Quezon City na mangamba para sa kanilang kaligtasan dahil umaalog umano ito lalo na kapag maraming tao. Pero paliwanag ng MMDA, normal lang ang nararamdaman na tila pag-alog ng naturang daanan.
Sa ulat ni Ivan Mayrina sa GMA News “24 Oras” nitong Miyerkoles, sinabing matatagpuan ang naturang footbridge sa kanto ng EDSA at Roosevelt Avenue.
Nag-viral kamakailan sa TikTok ang isang video na na nagpapakita ng pag-alog umano ng footbridge kapag maraming tao. Kinumpirma naman ng ilang dumaraan na ramdam pag-alog ng footbridge kung saan umaabot minsan sa itaas ang pila ng mga pasaherong sumasakay EDSA Bus Carousel.Gayunman, tiniyak ni MMDA Chairman Romando Artes, na ligtas na gamitin ang footbridge at walang dapat na ikatakot ang mga gumagamit nito.
“Footboards po ang ginamit diyan so talagang may vibration po ang footbridge na ‘yan. ‘Yan po kasi ay designed para daanan lang hindi para tambayan kasi kapag tumambay ka diyan or nag-stay ka for a while, mararamdaman mo talaga ang vibration dahil ‘yun talaga ang design niyan,” paliwanag ng opisyal. Upang makatiyak pa rin, sinabi ni Artes na inatasan na niya kaniyang mga tauhan para suriin ang nasabing footbridge.--
