PETALING JAYA: Malaysian playmaker R. Kogileswaran has officially become the first Malaysian to play in the Korean League.
The 24-year-old confirmed on his social media pages that he is joining the Korean division two club Chungbuk Cheongju, signing a one-year deal.
"I have signed a one-year contract with K2 club Chungbuk Cheongju FC on 10th Jan. Arrived in Bangkok yesterday to join the club's pre-season training," he said.Kogileswaran has played for Malaysia eight times, scoring two goals. He was also a key player for the Malaysia Under-19 and 23 teams in the past.Article type: free
