Terengganu state in Malaysia has once again been affected by floods, prompting the opening of two temporary evacuation centers (PPS) in the Hulu Terengganu district. Continuous heavy rainfall has led to an increase in evacuees, with 48 individuals from 15 families currently seeking shelter. The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued warnings of continuous rain, with several districts experiencing dangerous water levels.
: Terengganu was hit by floods again when two temporary evacuation centres were opened in the Hulu Terengganu district at 3pm today.
It also said that the trend in the number of evacuees as of 6pm showed an increase due to the continuous rain. Meanwhile, two other districts, namely Kuala Terengganu and Marang, have been issued a severe continuous heavy rain warning.
