JOHOR BARU: The number of flood victims in six districts in Johor has risen from 2,593 people from 731 families on at 4am Monday (Jan 30) to 2,757 people from 774 families as at 8am.
A statement released by the State Disaster Management Committee said evacuees are currently seeking shelter at 31 temporary relief centres in six districts.
The eight centres in Batu Pahat currently house 946 victims from 266 families, three centres in Kluang with 422 victims from 117 families and Kota Tinggi with 453 victims from 117 families.
