KUALA LUMPUR: The National Registration Department will replace identification documents such as identity cards and birth certificate s for flood victims without fines, says Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail "If they couldn’t save their identification documents, such as birth certificate s and MyKads lost or damaged, go immediately to the NRD office when able to get a replacement.
He also advised the public to be cautious especially with the upcoming monsoon season that usually hits the East Coast at year’s end, and to follow instructions from the authorities, including evacuation orders.
