JOHOR BARU: Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi has expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for directing all banks to help people affected by the massive Johor floods.
He expressed his appreciation to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for his concern about the well-being of flood victims.
During a recent trip to Johor, Anwar had announced a RM50mil allocation while his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi announced RM10mil for flood management needs in the state. Onn had earlier appealed to Anwar to consider a moratorium of between three and six months for flood victims.
