The flood situation in Johor is showing signs of improvement with a decrease in the number of evacuees. As of 6 pm, 2,538 people from 741 families were staying in 31 temporary relief centers (PPS), compared to 3,973 people from 1,113 families in 38 PPS at 8 am. Kulai has fully recovered, with 764 people from 191 families returning home. Kota Tinggi remains the worst-affected district, with the number of flood victims rising to 1,328 people from 389 families.
JOHOR BAHRU: Situasi banjir di negeri ini semakin baik apabila jumlah mangsa semakin berkurangan, iaitu 2,538 orang daripada 741 keluarga ditempatkan di 31 pusat pemindahan sementara , setakat 6 petang tadi.
Kulai pulih sepenuhnya apabila seramai 764 orang daripada 191 keluarga di lima PPS pulang ke rumah masing-masing. Azmi yang juga Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri berkata, jumlah mangsa banjir di Pontian pula mencatatkan sedikit peningkatan kepada 623 orang daripada 173 keluarga berbanding 595 orang daripada 161 keluarga.
