The Phoenix Suns bounced back from Sunday's upset loss to NBL's Adelaide 36ers to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 119-115 Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
LeBron James caught fire in the first half, Mikal Bridges committed fouls left and right and the Suns lost Cameron Payne and Cam Johnson to hand injuries.
After giving up 134 points in Sunday's loss to the NBL's Adelaide 36ers, Phoenix allowed 69 points in the first half Wednesday to the Lakers. Suns coach Monty Williams would've pulled Bridges after two fouls in the first quarter, but with it being preseason, he kept him in the game. So training camp invites Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and Frank Jackson got some minutes. Luwawu-Cabarrot sealed victory with two free throws.
Williams didn't play Bismack Biyombo after giving him minutes Sunday. He doesn't like to play more than three bigs.
