PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Azam Baki today rubbished claims that five Perlis assemblymen are set to be detained by the anti-graft agency.
PETALING JAYA: Malaysia n Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Azam Baki today rubbished claims that five Perlis assemblymen are set to be detained by the anti-graft agency.Yesterday, MACC special operations division senior director Azmi Kamaruzaman also denied the allegations, saying they were not true “for now”.
The claims began circulating on social media over the weekend, while a news portal quoted an anonymous senior politician in Perlis as saying the five assemblymen would be arrested by MACC soon.
