KUALA SELANGOR: Police issued 59 compounds to a group gathered to fish at a pond in Hulu Selangor.
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Fadzil Ahmat said police checked the fishing pond along Jalan Ampang Pecah, Rasa, in Kuala Kubu Baru, on Monday and found 59 people fishing there."We issued compounds to these people too," he said when met at Kuala Selangor police headquarters on Tuesday .
"The restrictions on fishing, leisure activities and visiting houses are there for a reason and we feel the people were not taking them seriously, which was why we began our operations.
