SHAH Alam City Council claims that the fish species released at Tasik Bandaraya Shah Alam recently was not listed as foreign or prohibited in the Malaysian Fisheries Department poster on its website.
MBSA has come under fire for releasing the fish, after the activity was posted on its Facebook page Oct 13. The Selangor Fisheries Department also released a statement today, expressing regret over the matter.
