The Nation Newspaper First anniversary: Tinubu's economic policies best for Nigeria, says APC chieftain
A member of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress Professionals Forum, Vincent Essien has called on Nigerians to exercise a little patience with the government, saying the economy will soon regain its balance for a very prosperous nation.
Overwhelmed with optimism, Essien averred that there is going to be a relief around the corner, especially concerning the cost of petrol as there are assurances that in the next 60 days, Nigeria will reduce to the barest minimum, the importation of petroleum products. Though as a member of a Think-Tank review Committee of President Tinubu’s administration, Essien is of the view that one year is not enough to do a proper overview of the government “but the building blocks have been put in place for a very prosperous economy”.
