Properties and infrastructure was gutted by fires in several municipalities in the Western Cape . Overstrand Mayor Dr Annelie Rabie said they evacuated families in Sea Farm, where four properties were destroyed, and temporarily relocated them to Kleinmond town hall. Cape Town firefighters responded to incidents in Vrygrond, Masiphumelele, Broadlands and Overcome Heights.
