Los Angeles firefighters extinguished a fire at an upholstery and car shop in Van Nuys on Monday, May 29.
Forty firefighters responded to a call around 6 p.m. at a one-story commercial building at 14735 W. Bessemer St, according to aThe flames were originally reported by a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter. When they arrived on scene firefighters noted a heavy fire inside the building. It took firefighters 23 minutes to put the fire out, according to the press release.
