It is unclear where the fire originated, but 7NEWS understands the black smoke was coming from a mirror shop within the complex. “There are approximately 25 appliances on scene and it’s expected crews will remain on scene for most of the day.”Credit:The dark black smoke is understood to be from a mirror shop, and firefighters are working to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby automotive shop.Cranes have been set up to blast the blaze from above, while more firefighters tackle the flames from on the ground.
It is understood traffic will be affected for some time after the flames have been extinguished, so investigators can begin their inquiries.
