A man died and a woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries in the fire Sunday in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A house fire Sunday in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood resulted in the death of a man and sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries, according to fire department officials.
The fire occurred just before 4 p.m. at a residence on the 3200 block of Woodbridge Avenue. The man was found dead on the first floor of the home, while the woman was rescued from the second floor,The woman was in serious condition at MetroHealth Medical Center, according to the fire department. Fire Lt. Michael Norman tells WKYC that the man tried to put out the fire himself.
