A new trailer for Barbie has been released, teasing just how emotional the upcoming movie will be. Directed by Greta Gerwig, Barbie stars Margot Robbie as the titular Mattel doll. The film follows Robbie's character as she leaves Barbieland and embarks on an adventure to the Real World, with a story that promises to be both hilarious and surprisingly deep.

The first full-length trailer, however, teases that the emotional core of the film could actually be surprisingly deep. As is fitting for a script by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, Barbie looks like it will delve into existential questions, exploring just what it means to be human.
