Film News in Brief: Gerard Butler thriller ‘Greenland will open first in Europe, then in U.S. on Sept. 25

Solstice Studios delayed its Russell Crowe thriller “Unhinged” until an unspecified date in August, moving off the previous July 31 release date.

Previously announced announced candidates Carlos Foglia and J. David Shanks withdrew. Ballots will go out Aug. 31 and must be returned by Sept. 21.The American Black Film Festival has set its lineup for the 2020 virtual edition, which runs Aug. 21 to Aug. 30 with more than 90 films selected. Rich will produce with Tim Bevan and Nira Park, who co-founded Complete Fiction with Wright and have produced his projects from early in his film and television career.
